Artemesia is named after Artemis – Goddess of the Moon, Nature and all wild things. Artemisia is loved for her spiritual associations as well as her aromatic characteristics. Artemisia ludoviciana has been used traditionally as a ceremonial plant, for medicine, and for skin care.
Our aromatic Artemisia Hydrosol can be used in soothing and cooling skin care applications and also for aromatherapy. We use Artemisia Hydrosol as a refreshing, yet soothing facial mist. Artemisia Hydrosol can be combined with other hydrosols or used alone. It can also be used as the water phase in skin care and hair care formulations.
Our lovely grey Artemisia plants are tenacious in almost all situations. We honor their tenacity and appreciate the aromatic waters they give us. Artemisia ludoviciana is grown without the use of pesticides. Our farm is in the process of USDA NOP certification.
