Gentle Oats Baby Wash

This tearless, non-irritating formula was created especially for delicate or sensitive skin and can be used as a body wash or shampoo. Hydrolyzed Oats and VenaSilk will soothe, soften and condition, while exceptionally mild BBC gently cleanses. CocoEm WS will add light emolliency without compromising foam or clarity.
Finished pH: 6.5

Ingredient BBC surfactant concentrate CocoEm WS PEG 150 Distearate Hydrolyzed Oats VenaSilk Glycerin Distilled Water Liquid Germall Plus Total

Amount 30% = 150 grams 2% = 10 grams 1.5% = 7.5 grams 2% = 10 grams 3% = 15 grams 3% = 15 grams 58.2% = 291 grams 0.3% = 1.5 grams 100% = 500 grams

1) Weigh VenaSilk in a separate container, add glycerin, mix into a paste and set aside.

2) In another container, combine distilled water and Hydrolyzed Oats and heat to approximately 175F.

3) Slowly add (hot) distilled water/hydrolyzed oats mixture to VenaSilk/glycerin mixture, mixing well with each addition. Set aside.

4) Combine BBC surfactant concentrate, CocoEm WS and PEG 150 Distearate. Heat until PEG 150 Distearate is completely melted/dissolved. Do not overheat -- a bit of the #3 mixture can be added with gentle stirring. When PEG 150 Distearate is completely melted, add remainder of #3 ingredients.

5) Cool-down to 120F or less. Add Liquid Germall Plus and mix well.
