Xanthan gum is an anionic polysaccharide that is derived from Xanthomonas campestris by a pure-culture fermentation process. Xanthan gum is a food grade thickener and stabilizer.
The Herbarie's XanThix™ is an excellent natural source choice for thickening shampoo, body wash, lotions, creams and other personal care products. XanThix™ has not been chemically modified, but has been especially manufactured to improve dispersion when added to water.
