SugarMulse Liquid Crystal Lotion
SugarMulse offers unique liquid crystal structure which allows for an excellent delivery system, and skin barrier strengthening with outstanding moisturization.
Our Shea Butter, Abyssinian Oil, Jojoba Oil and Botanical Complex LHC offer lovely emolliency in this lotion formula. Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) will enhance stability and feel characteristics. All ingredients work together in this silky skin conditioning lotion.

HEC (weigh and set aside) | 0.8% = 4 grams |

- Weigh and heat Part A distilled water to 175F.
- In Part B, weigh HEC separately and set aside. Heat the remainder of Part B ingredients to 175F or until solids have melted.
- Remove Part B from heat and add HEC to melted/hot lipid phase, stirring to separate particles.
- Add Part B to Part A with mixing using a stickblender or other high shear mixer. (Homogenizer is recommended, but stickblender will work for small batches). Continue to mix as emulsion forms and cools to 100F or less.
- Add Part C ingredients with mixing. Continue to mix, switching to hand held whisk or other stir tool. Package in lotion bottles with pump or dispensing cap.
