PlantaMulse Plus Sprayable Emulsion

PlantaMulse Plus! New for stable liquid emulsions! PlantaMulse™Plus performs beautifully at very low percentages to formulate stable, sprayable emulsions such as body mist or facial mist. PlantaMulse™Plus will emulsify essential oils, as well as oils and emollients, in sprayable formulations and is recommended as a replacement for ethoxylated emulsifiers such as Polysorbate 20. PlantaMulse™Plus offers superb moisturization properties and lovely sensory characteristics in stable, low viscosity formulas. PlantaMulse™Plus is supplied in easy to use pastilles.

This Sprayable Emulsion formula can be tweaked and customized to suit various desired functionalities. For emollient, yet light facial mist or body mist we choose lower percentages as we have demonstrated in this formula. This formula can also be used as a light leave-in hair conditioner. PlantaMulse Plus is versatile, easy to use with a lovely, light conditioning feel.

Combine Plantamulse Plus with Botanical Complex LSC, and Fractionated Coconut Oil in heat safe container such as our stainless steel beakers. Heat carefully (no microwave) until pastilles have melted (approx. 70-80C). Simultaneously, heat Rose Hydrosol in a separate container to approx. 70-80C. Slowly pour Rose Hydrosol into oil phase and allow to stand for one minute. Begin mixing with stickblender or homogenizer and continue to mix until cooldown. When emulsion has cooled to approx. 35-40C, add RPBE, LLSF, and Microguard with continued mixing until well incorporated. Once completely cool, pour into a sprayable container.
